The Wine Industry Symposium Group is an organization of California wine industry professionals dedicated to the development and promotion of financial business programs for the wine industry. Over the past eighteen years, over 12,000 wine industry professionals have attended our events and we have now become the premiere financial educator of the wine community.

An annual Symposium and several seminars are hosted by the organization throughout the year respond to the industry's need for a forum to exchange ideas and develop a communications bridge to the financial community. The sponsor group is rotational, and is made up of individuals highly qualified in at least one aspect of the industry, including marketing, finance, and winery or vineyard management.

Members of the Symposium Group work in conjunction with industry experts to address their colleagues in areas which focus on the needs of the wine industry. The goal is to continue to offer easily accessible forums on financial, marketing, and winery/vineyard business concerns.

In 1996 we expanded our program to include a Vineyard Economics Seminar and a program for the Central Coast. In 2004, we worked with the Central Valley Winegrowers and the California Association of Winegrape Growers to initiate a similar program in the Central Valley. We have also acted as facilitators to the strategic plan for the American Wine Community, WineVision. In 2005 we helped with the formation of the Wine Industry Technology Symposium and in 2008 we instituted the The Green Wine Summit.
